Fall Semester Highlights

On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) Program

Employers will conduct on-campus interviews from September 28–November 20 in the Career Center. College of Business students are encouraged to attend an optional OCI Program Orientation Workshop and learn strategies for using GatorJOBS to sign up for on-campus interviews.

Workshops for International Students

The Office of International Programs (OIP) offers a series of workshops of special interest to F-1 Visa international students in the College of Business that provide current information about working in the U.S. Other workshops are very specific and discuss Practical Training, H1-B Visa and permanent residency. Career Expo Fall 2009

This is a great opportunity for College of Business students and alumni to meet with employers and learn about internships and full-time employment opportunities. Attend a Rev Up Your Résumé or Make a Job Fair Work for You workshop and receive an Early Access Pass to the Career Expo.

Career Forum

The Career Forum has become a popular event. Held in Boston and Los Angeles, the forum brings together world-class companies and Japanese-English bilinguals. You will be able to interview with global companies. Pre-registration is recommended. Apply early for limited travel scholarships. For more information, go to: www.careerforum.net.

Résumé Critique Day

Does your résumé need a check-up? Will it get and keep the attention of employers? Employers, career professionals and alumni will be available to review your résumé, and offer immediate feedback and suggestions during the resume clinic. Attend this workshop and receive priority sign-up to have your résumé critiqued.

Workshops at Four Series

To help College of Business students identify and find their dream careers in a tight, competitive job market, the Career Center presents a series of workshops on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 p.m. in SSB 206. In collaboration with the College of Business, the workshops will be repeated on Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. in BUS 202. Seating is limited for all workshops, so arrive early.

Attend a workshop and receive an Early Access Pass to the Career Expo and priority sign-up for other programs sponsored by the Career Center.

Employment Seminar for F-1 Visa Students

Walt Disney World College Program Presentation

The Disney College Program offers College of Business students the opportunity to participate in their paid, internship program at Disneyland or Walt Disney World. Student may also participate immediately after graduation. The internship is also available to F-1 Visa international students.
